Review of Mildura Harness Race Track

Mildura is a town in Victoria, Australia that has a harness racing track of the same name. The track is relatively short, being only 810 meters long with a straight of 70 meters. Covered in granitic sand, the track plays host to a number of races each year and serves as a training facility during the rest of the time.

The racecourse and the Mildura Harness Racing Club is a small facility compared to others in the country. The track is short, and there is only one main grandstand. The DNR Logistics Pace is a televised event locally and live streamed on some websites for those who cannot be at the track. Betting on the race opens shortly before the actual race starts. The Mildura Trots is a three-day carnival which is held at the Mildura racecourse. It is known to attract punters and their families from all over the country as a holiday destination.
